Work in Progress and New Stuff

I've been quite the neglectful little blogger these days but that's just the way it goes sometimes! Here's my current work in progress.

Monday

Today
I'm anxious to start sewing on it but I'm not sure how soon that will happen. I need to work on it a bit yet, and the grandudes are coming to stay with us for a few days next week. I'm looking forward to their visit!

The work in progress is being done on the island table in my studio. I tape freezer paper to the counter top, tape the fabric to the freezer paper, draw my design, and paint away. I bought the easel below for my next project so that I don't have to tape it to the table. I think I'll tape the fabric to foam core board or something of that nature, put it on the easel, and do my painting there.

I spotted this cute little screwdriver when George and I were in the Sears tool department the other day. I told George that I loved it so much that I couldn't wait to get home and screw something. So far, however, I have it displayed on this little easel doing nothing.

BUT I'M HAVING FUN LOOKING AT IT!

Wishing you a Creatively Fun Weekend,
D~~~~

That's an adorable screwdriver. I once painted my stepladder pink so that the guys at the farm wouldn't borrow it. Didn't work. Plus they ran over it.........
