I requested this book for Christmas and received it. I thought I'd take my time going through it and create an art quilt from each chapter. This first chapter is Fabric Weaving which I have done before but not with the wavy cut so I opted to do it.

Here's the quilt.
I call it The Hearty Tornado.

I just noticed that the colors match the ones on the front of the book. I wish I'd have cut the orange strips a little bit thinner though. Oh well, it was fun to do! The next chapter is creating texture with tucks which sounds interesting. I'm trying to decide whether to start it right away or do another project I have in mind. Decisions, decisions!
